I received a set of 12 with one broken in the package.

Order the wicks first and find a nail of corresponding size and get the putty at the Ace Hardware store.

The wick holder itself is very small, barely fits into the top of a wine bottle.

I received a set of 12 with one broken in the package. The wicks are only about 4 inches long and are useless. The wick easily slips through the glass and needs to be rigged in order to stay in place. If not, can be a recipe for disaster.

Be aware of the shipping costs. They are EXTREMELY INFLATED!

I recieved my product quickly within 2 days! There was nothing wrong with the product except it doesn't come with a long enough wick. The actual holder is awesome and what I was looking for but I would have paid more if I could have gotten enough wick in the same order....Good holder, not enough wick!

They are fragile and poorly designed. Why not make your own by using an epoxy-putty kit (J.B. Stick Weld for example). Make a small ball of the putty form it in a small funnel (cone-shape to fit a bottle) and poke a hole in the center of it before it cures and tap it loose before it cures. You can buy wicks round or flat from the Lehman's catalog (they are in Amish country). Order the wicks first and find a nail of corresponding size and get the putty at the Ace Hardware store.
They sound like they are being made in China. More crap!

Shipping was very prompt, it took 2 days to receive the items. I use these to make oil lamps out of wine bottles and these wicks are very short for this. Also the shipping rate was very high, I bought a gallon of lamp oil elsewhere for about the same shipping rate.

Bought these and a spool of wick. These include the wicks so unless you need a much longer wick, don't buy more. Made mason jar lamps for Christmas projects and these wick and holders worked perfectly.

The glass inserts for the oil lamp containers were fine. I'm not thrilled with how long the wicks hold a flame and am researching to see what else is out there. A friend who is a potter made a small oil lamp for me which, once lit, will burn on and on until I extinguish it. This is not true of the wicks that came with the glass inserts.

The only improvement would be longer wick for slightly taller more readily available bottles for the candles. These are a bit short for more common sizes of glassware.

The wicks do not stay in place in the glass tube.
The tube is too wide and the wick falls out easily.
I am returning them.
