Okay, I have a confession. I LOVE sweets and adore baking decadent desserts for my family, but I've always been concerned that, even though delicious, these things are not very healthy. Imagine my delight when I discovered Ruth's Gleefully Gluten-Free cookbook! Now I don't have to feel guilty when baking for my family. The recipes in this book are absolutely delicious! They taste every bit as good as the unhealthy versions! I love that Ruth gives the definitions of the products she uses and also the health benefits they provide. It helps me understand why eating this way is so important. Even if you're not gluten intolerant or diabetic, you'll want to give these recipes a try! I definitely want this cookbook for my collection!

Gleefully Gluten Free is more than just another gluten-free cookbook. It contains information about specialty foods, how to obtain them and all kinds of tips for using the products. Aside from that it also has some of the best gluten free recipes I have ever tried. I personally am not gluten intolerant but I have tried many of the desserts in the cookbook and they are ALL really good. My favorite is the chocolate pie! It is rich and creamy and so easy to make. The recipes in this book are great for anyone because they are highly nutritious and very satisfying without being sugary. Excellent for anyone looking for alternatives for low sugar recipes as well as eating raw foods.

I knew there had to be a book out there with some good gluten free recipes in it. And I have found it. No more feeling jipped when everyone else is enjoying a sweet treat. In fact you could make these healthy treats and no one would know that they are gluten free. If you know anyone with Celiac disease, make them a treat and brighten their day!

The recipes I tried in this book were delicious and liked even by members of the family who weren't gluten intolerant. This book is also educational in that it teaches the health benefits of the different grains and ingredients you will be using in the book. Overall, it's a healthier way to eat--and healthy isn't often associated with "dessert"--and the desserts are still yummy!!! It's the kindest way to "treat" your family and friends.

I love these recipes! My family and friends love them! Even those who aren't Gluten-free(ers) :) They are tasty, guilt-free and amazing!Some of my favorites are the "Chilled Double Chocolate Torte" (finally a yummy way to use those avacados!), the Loaded Oatmeal Cookies, and all the "ice cream" :) recipes!I used many of the cake recipes at my husband's birthday party and I had to make more later so he could try them :) they were That popular! Besides how tasty and guilt free they are; I Especially appreciate the Dependability of the recipes - I haven't had all of the same products every time - but if i need to substitute I have been able to rely on the finished product being reliably fabulous! Ruth's recipes are quickly becoming favorite classics in my family!

This book has some yummy-sounding recipes and most folks would love and appreciate what the book as to offer. However, I only rated it 3-star because I am also a vegan, so there were few if any recipes here that I could use "as is." The book is absolutely what it claims to be...and makes no pretense of offering anything other than gluten-free recipes.

Wow, I made so many of the desserts in this book and I loved the way they tasted and how simply the book was made. I really enjoyed that she gave me the information to get the ingredients that I needed. I also enjoyed that she shared the health benefits as well. Thank you for showing that you can eat healthy and still have divine tasting food!!! My kids loved the raw brownies best!! Thank you Ruth.

I gladly and gleefully thank the author for creating such an awesome book. I recently discovered that I am gluten intolerant, but oh how I love the sweets, breads, cakes, snacks and miss them. Now with the help from this easy to read book I can have some awesome desserts again. There are even dairy free ice cream recipes in here. I am so enjoying this book and I highly recommend for anyone not those that need gluten free desserts but anyone who wants to eat healthier. Thank you.
