Superb jazz soundtrack, March 16, 2008

A superb jazz soundtrack (for a fantastic film!) from talents such as Wayne Shorter, Al Jarreau, Dr. John, David Sanborn, Take 6, etc. Not all the songs on this album are heard on the film's soundtrack (they should have been!), but they all surely evoke the film and a late night in New York City with the streets awash with the ozone-scent of a recent rain. Cool, jazzy, moody--a must for the urban jazz lover. One of my favorites for a late night with a glass of bourbon on the rocks. A classic that's bound to become even cooler as the years roll on.
