There's really very little one can say about dental floss, but this is VERY smooth and VERY wide dental floss that gets between teeth amazingly well. It's an absolute joy to use this floss. I buy it in bulk, and then double up whenever I use it. It's great.

And incidentally, there's no comparison between this stuff and the regular Glide dental floss. That stuff is wide and just as shred-free, but this Comfort Plus version is much smoother and gentler on the teeth as I floss.

The only negative about this floss -- like other brands -- is that shortly before it runs out, it 'cuts itself off' in the container. So, essentially, if you want to use the last couple yards of this floss, you have to take apart the dispenser. Not a big deal, I guess.

I have very tight contact between my teeth and have tried the shred resistant Glide, which just broke instead of shredding. This floss has more give to it so it doesn't snap as easily and I can ease it in between my back teeth without it breaking. And it's convenient to get it in 6 pack and put it everywhere (each bathroom, purses, etc).

I used to use Reach, Oral-B, Colgate, or store/generic brands of dental floss. However, one visit to the dentist for a cleaning appointment changed that.

While seated at the dentists chair on a dental cleaning appointment, I noted that the dental assistant was using a kind of floss that was quite a bit thicker than what I was used to seeing. Despite its thickness, it easily passed through the tight spaces between my teeth (I had an impacted tooth condition then). The floss was tough, and unlike a lot of the floss I had tried, it resisted shredding. Intriqued, I asked her what kind of floss it was. "It's Crest," she said. After I got home, I immediately bought a pack of Crest Glide and tried it on myself - I was hooked.

The Crest Glide is unlike any kind of floss you'll find out there. The floss is not thread-like at all; it is flat and broad - like tape. I find that the larger surface area helps to remove more plague and debris between teeth. The floss is tough and very resistant to shredding. It is amply waxed, so it has no problem gliding between teeth. (The Crest brand of floss is thus very aptly named "Glide!") Crest Glide is also soft and gentle on your gums.

Ever since discovering Crest Glide, I refuse to use any other kind of dental floss. Give it a whirl - you might just find yourself hooked on it like I am!

I've used this floss for some time. It works well and is more resistant to shredding than other floss products I have used.

Hi. I used to like J+J reach gentle gum care fresh mint, but it started to shred in my teeth. I chose Glide Comfort Plus based on reviews on [...]. I found it to be comfortable, easy to go between teeth, and not at all harsh on gums. Plus the price is cheaper on amazon.

The other reviewers are absolutely right. This floss does not shred. My teeth are also very tight and I have been disappointed by many other types of floss. I love that it is wide and very smooth, it glides in easily and has a wide surface for cleaning. Also, it is just a little bit minty and refreshing. I am sticking with this floss.

This is the only floss I can use. My teeth are very close together and I shread all other brands. Great price on Amazon.

Aptly named. I found all other brands, waxed, unwaxed too abrasive. The mint smells very pleasant too. Because of Glide, I hate flossing a little less.

This floss does feel softer in the hands. It is just as strong, doesn't shred and glides between teeth just as smoothly as original Glide.

I could do without the mint flavor. I don't taste the flavor at all, but it makes the floss smell medicinal, not so pleasant. Usually, mint floss is refreshing, but not here. I would like this floss without flavor and will try Glide Comfort Plus Unflavored next time.

Tried many brands and so far, as well as by far, this is the best. On very rare occasions it may shred a little, but all-in-all it is an outstanding product.
