Along with "It Never Snoes In September", this is one of the best books on the Battle of Arnhem I have read. Although the book is written from the perspective of the actions conducted by the Glider Regiment, it provides a well balanced overview of that tragic battle. Additionally, the authors provided a brief, yet important background of the organization, training and earlier combat operations which are key to setting the stage for the Arnhem Operation.
