Best Abby Yet, July 9, 2010
This review is from: A Glimpse of Evil (Psychic Eye Mysteries, No. 8) (Mass Market Paperback)
Congratulations Victoria! A Glimpse of Evil is the 8th book in the Psychic Eye Mysteries series and you have not disappointed me. This is my favorite story with my favorite characters. I recommend that interested new readers start at the beginning of this series, then enjoy her Ghost Hunter Mysteries series. The plots are interesting, enjoyable, funny and well written.
Keep up the great work and I will keep reading!

Another Great Read, July 7, 2010
This review is from: A Glimpse of Evil (Psychic Eye Mysteries, No. 8) (Mass Market Paperback)
A Glimpse of Evil did not disappoint. The story moved along nicely and all of our favorite characters make an appearance. Too often series start to recycle plots and become less interesting. Not the case in Laurie's latest installment. Another excellent read in the series. I can't wait to read the next one.

A Fast Page Turner, September 8, 2010
This review is from: A Glimpse of Evil (Psychic Eye Mysteries, No. 8) (Mass Market Paperback)
I have been a fan of both of Laurie's series from the beginning and gobbled this one up as soon as it came from
Amazon. I was a little leery of Glimpse of Evil because the last Ghost Buster book had disappointed me with the absence of Stephen the series hero and a cliff hanger ending romantically that as a long time romance fan disappointed me.
But, Glimpse of Evil did not disappoint in any way. I love Abby, Dutch and their friends and what made this enormous fun for me was the romantic elements got full coverage in this book and weren't just there as filler. But, the mysteries did not get short shrift either, I was totally engrossed from page one and I only realized who the villain was right before Abby did--which since I have read mysteries for 50 years, is pretty unusual I nearly always know who done it.
As another reviewer mentioned, I would start with book one and just read the entire series back-to-back, that's what I did when I discovered Ms. Laurie last year and then I devoured all of the Ghost Buster books and only the last one in that series disappointed, from a romance viewpoint and I am still hoping Stephen will reappear in the next book; but, whether he does or not I will be reading to see what Ms. Laurie comes up with next. She is an excellent storyteller with an eye to detail and creates characters who are both likable and people you want to cheer on.
