This book is amazing. It is a good read and very thought provoking! The book made me look at my life from an emotional/mental, spiritual, and physical aspect. It encouraged me that we can all make improvements in our life and that we should all strive to live life to the fullest and appreciate each and every day. One concept that really stands out in my mind is Dr. Hepker's numberous references to doing the right thing for the right sake, without the need for selfish recognition! How many times have we done the right thing for the right sake but needed the recogition for doing what is right? That really makes me think about me as a person and how doing the right thing for the right sake, without the need for selfish recogntion plays a part in my life. I will truly strive to move toward this goal as an individual.

I would recommend this book for anyone who is interested in making positive changes in their life.

I have the privilege of knowing Dr. Hepker. He is an extremely intelligent and amazing man and definitely portrays his beliefs in this book in his daily life!

Great job, Glen!

A big resounding bravo! This is an extremely important work. It is surprising that such a serious book is categorized in the Self-Help genre, not where I would expect to find such writing. Even while attempting to draw from decades of experience as a philosophy professor, I find it difficult to gauge the importance of this book; though, no matter, it should be viewed as with great respect and appreciation. It is extremely well written, and it concisely connects an AMAZING number of significantly profound and deeply meaningful dots in a way that is mind boggling. It punches hard, yet does so in a loving, empathetic, and unpretentious way. I am very thankful to have had the great fortune of reading it. I plan to spread the word!

I've had the privilege of meeting Dr. Hepker on several occasions and I can assure any potential readers that the message of his book is the same that he teaches his students and the same that he lives by. "A Glimpse of Heaven" is not intended to be an esoteric exploration of the meaning of existence, but rather a practical approach to improving one's state of mind and thus his or her life in general. It is a message that is easy to understand but a real challenge to live by day to day, and yet most things that are worth doing require real effort to produce the desired result. In other words, nothing of value comes easily.

This book is a reminder to the weary traveler that the journey of life is best experienced one step at a time. In a world were we are constantly struggling to get to the next thing, we often forget to appreciate the here and now. Dr. Hepker's book is, as the title states, a glimpse of something better that is within the reach of any individual who is willing to let go of the baggage that weighs him down so that he might rise to meet it.

Dr. Hepkers book is truly a gift to anyone looking to better themselves and the world around them. I have had the priveledge to be mentored by Dr. Hepker and get a personal insight into the notion of true health through true responsibility. As a member of our Law Enforcement community I commend Dr. Hepker for his vision and teachings. I hope you take the time to read his book and realize what a wonderful World we would live in if we all could see A Glimpse of Heaven.

In every generation there's at least One Book that becomes a MUST READ for those who want to know how to live life! IN THIS GENERATION Dr. Glen Hepker's "A GLIMPSE of HEAVEN IS THAT & much, much more! Within the pages of this book are found profound but easy to understand and implement trans-formative thoughts on love, kindness, civility, and more. Then as one understands how acting in accordance with the ideals espoused within can... and will transform an ordinary life to extraordinary one without one having to change so much as grow in compassion and kindness, I believe the reader will experience joy they had hitherto not known!

Always writing about choices and how God can help us change, Paula Rose Michelson wrote the Amazon Best Selling Christian self-help book "How Did We Become Angry?" That book and her three sweet Christian fictions with a Messianic twist and a hint of history: "Beginning Anew: The Naomi Chronicles" and "Casa de Naomi: The House of Blessing, Books One and Two", are available on Amazon.

Articulate and very well written, Dr. Glen Hepker’s “A Glimpse of Heaven” is not only a general overview of time honored practices for achieving greater spiritual and physical fulfillment, it also serves as a helpful reference guide. From relaxation and meditation to liquidity of movement and healthier eating habits; from perseverance and true effort to true faith and forgiveness; from responsibility to ourselves and others to true appreciation of being in the moment, Dr. Hepker carefully explains why these subjects (and more!) are so important for our own health as well as the health of society as a whole. In addition, gentle suggestions are given along the way about how we can practice these vital areas in our own daily lives. Ultimately, because the book also emphasizes how negativity weighs us down and we need balance in our lives, I couldn’t help but wonder this: Perhaps worldwide greed, political duplicity, and aggression might be lessened if more people read and experienced this inspirational and informative book!
