The Body Bar is a conventional compound used in a conventional method of removing contaminants from vehicle surfaces and creates an ultra smooth and clean surface that is ready for wax, polish, and/or paint sealant. When used as directed in the conventional method, it safely cleans & smooths the paint finish and easily removes surface contaminants such as: rail dust, brake dust, industrial fallout, tree sap, bug residue, paint overspray, and many other surface contaminants that are not easily removable during the washing process! I love this clay bar. If you've been using clay for a few years, you may recall the old car forum debates about what's better, "plastic clay" or "elastic clay". This Gliptone Clay Bar is the later, produced by John Kukala before his company was sued out of existence by Auto Wax Company.

Are you a long time Zaino Show Car Polish user? This is the exact same clay as the original Zaino Z-18 ClayBar. I have received my Gliptone clay in two different colors, yellow and gray, but it is the exact grade of clay.

How well does it clean? Fantastic! In fact, nothing legally (by patent protection) available in the USA today can match it.

Why is this product still available by Gliptone? Simple. The owner of Gliptone purchased pallets of it before John Kulala went under and has the authority to sell it without restrictions.

This is a great clay bar, and I highly recommend it.

Why is it better? It cleans better, lasts longer and does not fall apart.
