5.0 out of 5 stars visually it's one of the best books I have
I agree with a previous reviewer that it would be better 'to have brief case studies for each visual image over artists interviews as an introduction.' But visually it's one of the best books I have. But I'm an artist and see things may be differently.

2.0 out of 5 stars An interesting premise...for those with an acquired taste.
"Glitch: Designing Imperfection" is definitely for those with an acquired taste...and thankfully the authors acknowledge that reality. "Glitch: Designing Imperfection" is definitely for those with an acquired taste...and thankfully the authors acknowledge that reality. This unique book explores the visual concept of glitches as visual art. An interesting premise for a general graphic design audience yet mildly compelling with the uneven collection of examples presented. (Digital artists or interaction designers on the other hand, may find it inspiring for non-commercial endeavors or for arts-related usage.) Highlights include the colorful cover design, Q&A with various artists to support their cause and the beautiful choice in typography (Taz III by LucasFonts). Would have preferred to have brief case studies for each visual image over artists interviews as an introduction. (More information on the book can be found at: [...].)
