I have read "Glittering Strand" twice and each time it was a pleasure. It is simply fascinating to see how Judith Lennox weaves her tale, how she understands people, places, emotions, as well as the historic period, not to mention the imagery she can project. If only it could be made into a movie! Surely there must still exist an audience for a good story, beautiful settings, and a clever plot?...Let's give guns, drugs, and wars a rest? |
