4.0 out of 5 stars Very entertaining!
I liked this book. It starts off with describing the lives of four very spoiled rich girls. And then their monthly checks from their relative is suddenly at stake, and they must pretend to have careers so that his new wife to be doesn't understand how much they relay on his money. In the beginning, you don't really like the girls and you are almost happy that they are...

1.0 out of 5 stars Thank God it was a library book
If I had purchased this book, I would have been furious with myself for wasting my money on such a by-the-numbers story. If I had purchased this book, I would have been furious with myself for wasting my money on such a by-the-numbers story. This book has the standard storyline of these beach/long airtrip reads, but none of the enjoyment. In this story, you will find 4 incredibly gorgeous lead characters (naturally), filthy rich (of course) and mandatory love interests with handsome and rich suitors (heard that before??). These girls then fall on their feet, with fascinating and high profile careers.....and they live happily ever after. Think I have spoiled the ending???? Not at all......you know from the first chapter what is going to happen in this story, and you will THANK ME for not making you sit through the entire book.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very entertaining!, December 25, 2011

I liked this book. It starts off with describing the lives of four very spoiled rich girls. And then their monthly checks from their relative is suddenly at stake, and they must pretend to have careers so that his new wife to be doesn't understand how much they relay on his money. In the beginning, you don't really like the girls and you are almost happy that they are losing the money. But once they start working, their personalities change and they go from spoiled rotten to humble human beings. And then you start rooting for them. It's a great book about the negative side effects of easy money, and how it can change a person. But when you are about to lose the money you took for granted, it's a sudden wake-up call and you realize that you need to change certain things about yourself and your life. I like how they all managed to get good careers and be successful without needing the money anymore. It was fun, entertaining, and had a happy ending. Recommended!

4.0 out of 5 stars never disappoints, August 13, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Glitz (Paperback)
This is one author that - no matter how clichee the title, never disappoints. Just sometimes I wish the caracters were less predictable! It has passion, intrigue and glitz and glamour, funny and sometimes witty, sad but also delightful, and once you start reading, it is difficult to stop:-) thanks Lousie Bagshawe for some wonderful reading hours:-)
