16 Glo E Bear with Five Different Light

I got this bear from my sister, as a fun cheer-up toy. I'm 24 and we've hand ooodles of fun with the bear (we named him Mr. Puggles).

Sometimes we illuminate him while waiting at traffic lights in the car, and have him wave to people walking by. They usually laugh and wave back.

For kids, I think this bear is great. He's actually really really soft, light (as in, doesn't weigh a ton) and doesn't have that wirey feeling some light-up bears do. He's also not that creepy-kind of glow in the dark bear, which is a plus. The colors change in a really peaceful, calming manner too. I could image how useful he would be during bedtime rituals.

I'll probably end up sending him as a gift to my nephew, but I must say I was mighty mighty impressed. I think he would make a fabulous gift.

After seeing the comercial showing what the bear really does and checking out the website, I decided to get this for my soon to be 4 year old daughter. She still tends to get up in the middle of the night. I told her she could pick between the bear, puppy, or monkey. She didn't seem to thrilled about it at first. (considering you can't see it working in the store). But once we got it home (she picked the puppy) and took it to a dark room, she was amazed. She said it was the greatest thing ever. It is very bright and colorful. She sleeps with it everynight and has not once gotten out of bed in the middle of the night. Usually she will wake up, turn it back on, and roll over to go back to sleep. It can be turned off and on, and when left on it will stay on for 30 mins.

The only downside is the batteries lasted a week. So I would suggest buying rechargables. Or at least having extras on hand.

I strongly recommend this toy. Especially for troubled sleepers. The slow changing lights are soothing.

This bear rocks, the lights are great and its just like in the commercials i am 100% satified! Its just like sleeping with a nightlight, its great for kids, beacause they 'scare' away monsters, and ward off nightmares. Its sooooo soft! unbelieveable. so strong too!!!!!!!! I love my gloe bear!!!!! It rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought this for my uncle who is mentally handicap. He loves teddy bears, and I thought I would get this to add to his collection. The light inside the bear has different settings of color displays. You just squeeze it's hand to turn it on or off, or to change it to your choice of color display. The light is very bright, but soft too look at. My Uncle loved it! It shuts off after 15 min, so it is perfect for bedtime!

I just bought this toy for my almost 4-year old daughter becuase it was on clearance. She absolutely loves it. She sleeps with it every night and carries it around with her. WHen you press his paw it has a light show for 30 minutes before turning itself off. The only thing I am not too crazy about is you cant put it in the washer, you can only spot clean it. But this is the cutest little toy. I even like it and would reccomend it to anyone.

Glo bear is FANTASTIC. I bought one for my daughter and sons as soon as I saw it on the commerical. Its good for the little ones who are afraid of the dark. My children have good fun at night. They all run around with there glow bears and giggle. I just love glowbear

This bear would have been even better if there was a music box inside. The lights are entertaining and have caught the attention of the little one till they fell off to sleep, but out side of the lights, this bear is just a soft and cuddley sleep companion, perfect for sleepy cuddling. Not a tough toy... Won't stand up to being used in a pillow fight.

I got the bear and the wand for my son. The bear has a button in it's hand, and each time you press it, you get a different light show. The colors fade in and out and change. The bear will turn off after 15 mintues, so it's great for a kid to take to bed at night. I wish the bear had more uniform lighting, and that you could stop the light show so it would just glow one solid color. The way the lights are positioned inside the bear, when it's on, his cheeks, hands, feet and tummy glow. I think it's a bit over priced for what it does.

I was really impressed when our bear arrived. My 19 month old son fell in love with it right away and he hadn't even seen the light show yet. The bear is easy to operate, makes NO SOUND (hooray!), and the lights are soft and ever-changing for 15 minutes. The bear automatically shuts itself off unless the paw is pressed again. You do have the option to turn the light show off completely by switching the battery pack to the "off" position. There are 5 light shows to choose from so simply press the paw twice for the second light show, press the paw three times for light show number three, etc, etc..... Easy, easy. The bear is very soft and cuddly, and sits nicely on its own as well. The only "complaint" I have is that he sheds but I'm assuming over time that won't be a problem. I would highly recommend this bear for a toddler or young child, boy or girl.

My daughter just absolutely loves this toy! What she likes best about it is how it lights up in the dark and also that it has a wand that lights up from far away. She sleeps with it almost every night.
