Great, Annual Overview of Corruption in the World,

Transparency International (TI) publishes this annual report every year, and usually has some in depth chapters on specific countries and corruption in specific industries like energy. If this report doesn't have what you want, go to [...] and search on the earlier or other reports to find what you want. This is the group that publishes an annual Corruption Perception Index report and ranks how 180 countries compare to each other in perceived corruption. This is the study that usually is quoted about Afghanistan or Iraq being in the bottom five of the 180 country rankings. If you are interested in corruption at all, you need to be familier with TI and their publications.
