About the Author
Kofi Ayeh is married with three children and lives in the United Kingdom. He became a born-again Christian in 1995 in London and has since grown in the knowledge of Jesus Christ by His grace. After years of trying to find a niche for his faith and livelihood, he decided to enrol on a post-graduate course in economic development in third world countries in London in 1998, so he could be equipped to work for a unilateral charitable organisation. During his studies, he came to the realisation that poverty can never be made history, and that man's greatest and primary need is spiritual rather than physical. He also found out that no amount of regulations or force on earth, other than the unfailing love of Jesus, can make men share the world's resources equitably and the love for money is indeed the root of all evil. Following his 'lost faith' in man's ideal but failing schemes and concepts for financial security and prosperity, he decided to embark on a more devoted scriptural search to explore the reasons why personal borrowing and consumer debts were steadily becoming acceptable way of life for many in the seemingly prosperous Western world. He feels the magnitude and harsh consequences of the current craze of 'credit bingeing' that continues to enslave millions by the day, will have untold global impact on many generations to come.
