These grapefruit spoons have a very good cutting edge; they pull the sections out cleanly but don't feel rough on your lips when you're eating. The downsides are that the bowls are quite deep, making in somewhat difficult to cut against the wall of a section. The want to cut a half-moon out of the section instead of the whole thing. If you cut from the inner and outer edge, they're okay, though. Also, the straight, narrow handle isn't comfortable to hold. That said, these are the best grapefruit spoons I've used. No grapefruit spoons are comfortable to hold, and some are uncomfortable to eat from, which isn't an issue here. I'd definitely buy them again.

My mom couldn't say enough great things about these spoons. She called them "The perfect shape" for eating a grapefruit and she wanted another set. I guess so she could have a grapefruit eating party.

I have experience using a variety of grapefruit spoons.
These are sharp, angled approppriately, are attractive, and appear to be quality stainless steel. I recommend these spoons.
