I bought these on a lighting deal a few months ago. My bench came in great condition with no scratches and is extremely sturdy. The cubes are best for use as a footstool or "tray" table as they are not as sturdy and do not offer any support. I think a better title for the product is bench with footstools, but it is still a good buy. We use the bench at the foot of our bed for our dog to jump up on and to put on our shoes and socks. The cubes stay tucked under two chairs so that they can be pulled out for stools.

I bought this item as a lightning deal and it was worth the price (about a third of the normal price). In order to make space for the cubes, the bench isn't properly braced, and is very wobbly. I was planning to use the bench for the home keyboard and the cubes as TV room footstools, and it does the job OK, but I wish the bench were sturdier.

I recently purchased this item and was impressed with how attractive it looks. Its gorgeous and went perfectly in my bedroom. As attractive as it is, its not very good quality nor is it very sturdy. I weigh about a 190 pounds and when I sat on it one of the legs on the bench cracked and now Im scared to sit on it. So if it is just for show great but if you intend in using unless its for a childs room dont buy it.

This arrived with the paint on the wood scraped quite a bit, first of all. Secondly, and most importantly, the table broke very quickly. I wish I hadn'tve spent money on it to begin with.

Got this at Christmas when it was super cheap - about thirty five bucks. It looks really nice, but is pretty lightweight. One of the legs snapped off the bench within the first day. Granted, it was because my 4-year-old was wiggling around on it... If I had paid more I would have been really upset. As it is, the cubes work well as seating for the kids, and at some point I may have a go at fixing the bench.

The advertised original price of $250 seemed a stretch, but the bargain price of $36 made the defects in the merchandise forgivable. Its biggest flaw was a large gnarl in one of the legs that caused the leg to snap as I took it out of the packing crate. Being a woodworker, I was able to duplicate the leg and repair the bench. It's not the finest quality, but definitely worth the reduced price.

Arrived with 1/4 leg broken! Should improve packaging, material, or both. It costs too much to send back - even with partial shipping credit. Look elsewhere.

One of the legs on the bench was snapped off. The packaging is extremely flimsy. I had them send a second one. That one also arrived with a broken leg. Amazon was great about refunding, but this was a waste of our time.

The first one arrived with a refurbished looking. The legs have many cracks.
The replacement one arrived looks like new, however there are some scratches and holes on the surface.

This item is fine for the price (I paid thirtee four). I wasn't expecting great quality, and I was right. I ordered two sets, with the benches to be used as end tables and cubes to be used at foot stools in our media room. Works out fine. However, one of the benches arrived damaged, with a leg cracked beyond repair -- this was returned & replaced at Amazon's expense. The other set has poor, uneven stitching and should not be sold at 1st quality -- didn't return this one, fearing the replacement might be worse.

For the price I paid, they are fine. I got what I paid for. But don't expect a lot for these. You can do better at Target or Pier One in terms of quality for around eightee bucks on sale, and that's not saying a lot.
