I have been shopping with Amazon for a few years now and have never been so disappointed. Firstly, my chairs were sent to the incorrect address and when I found this out I called UPS and they told me to contact Amazon to have them contact UPS to have them redirected before they were sent to the invalid address. When I contacted Amazon they told me that they were unable to do so and that the chairs would have to be sent to the incorrect address in order to be redirected to me. When I contacted UPS again they told me that they would process the request after one failed delivery attempt. Needless to say I never received my chairs, after a month even, and Amazon told me that it could take up to another month to receive my refund. This put me in a very tight place because I was forced to go to an outside company to purchase chairs and now was technically also paying for chairs that I did not have. I will say that Amazon did promise to reimburse me before they had originally said so I will not accrue finance charges on my credit card, but over all I was very disappointed with the hassle and stress that I was put through. I do hope that this was a once in a lifetime situation, but I also must say I am EXTREMELY hesitant to shop with Amazon again.
