5.0 out of 5 stars Groovin' Susan has a winner!
I have been a Susan Morabito fan for a number of years now, having been to many live performances. In my opinion, this CD is the best recording of the experience of her live performance---beginning with cool, sexy, infectuous rythyms and melodies and then slowly, almost imperceptably, increasing the beat and intensity of the music until you're sailing the stratsophere...

2.0 out of 5 stars just when it starts to get good, it ends!
Opens with a too long, boring latin -flavored instrumental that feels very loungy and doesn't exactly make you wanna dance. From there it proceeds to be a lot more of the same, with minimal vocals, and that soft disco house sound. Impressively, Susan Morabito builds up to more pumping, throbbing sounds as the disc closes. The high point is "Do it Properly," a hardhouse stomper with diva vocals, almost in its full length form here...but some pops in the record are noticeable. This track actually seems sort of out of place here...it's sort of programmed so you feel like you stepped into a club when it first opened, and witnessed the first our of mostly boring warm up tracks, and JUST when the crowd starts to fill due to the first peak hour track, the CD ends. This isn't one of the better discs in this series. Track times are:

1. sunshine (7:11)
2. Sunday shoutin (5:21)
3. Good inside (6:59)
4. Timba (5:05)
5. Pasilda (5:51)
6. Do you love me (6:39)
7. Music is life (6:47)
8. Opium scumbagz (3:18)
9. Philly groove (5:30)
10. bang (5:35)
11. Do it properly (9:46)

A truly uplifting musical experience! I hope Susan does a follow up CD which picks up where this one leaves off. If you like music and love to dance, buy this CD and make sure to catch Susan at one of her nationwide live performances---you won't be disappointed!
