This book explains the basics of offshore investing after doing his usual slamming of US policies, taxes and the US stock markets. Again like, his last book, he gives you the "Schneider Approach"... This latest book makes some...preposterous statements such as "Although US markets cannot offer you the chance to get rich on Wall Street." but later talks about Warren Buffett who did exactly that and is now worth over $20 billion US. He then touts offshore markets in countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong but then rates them all as to either proceed caution, or as not recommended, that is all except for Malaysia which he gives a "Highest rating." I have read many MUCH BETTER books on the subject of offshore investing offered by Amazon Books.

Well the author, Jerome Schneider went to jail for six months and received a $100,000 fine AND turned over some 1072 clients to the IRS and the Department of Justice for helping people with the illegal bits. Stay away from the advice
