Believing that individuals are able to benefit from investing in foreign stocks, Keyes and Miller present a competent primer designed for anyone unfamiliar with foreign exchange transactions. After covering the basic arithmetic of currency conversion, they address the idiosyncracies of foreign security markets. The entire range of possible participation in foreign markets is explored, with healthy respect for the special risks that accompany this type of investing. Very welcome is summary informaton about markets in 45 countries, giving addresses, withholding rates, commission rates, and other useful facts. An excellent introductory work.
