I'd say that is a very general overview of Global Leadership and more than 50% of the book is about general Leadership, concepts that you'd find in any leadership book.

I regard this book as an indispensable and practical tool for personal leadership development. Quite often, we get or give 360 feedback where a growth opportunity is evidenced. This book not only reviews each area of skills, but more importantly provides valuable examples that actually drive change!

This book is a tremendous rescource for anybody who leads a team or organization in a increasingly complex, dynamic and global world. It's filled with practical advice, stories, studies and book references.

It was actually a pretty good book. Disagree with the authors sometimes but who doesn't. Good price too. I would suggest buying the book here for anybody else who needs to read it or have it for a class they are taking.

I have been ad admirer of Marshall Goldsmith and Maya Hu-Chan, and found this book to be an indispensible resource for anyone interested in learning more about the state of global business management. I've started my own company, selling products from the U.S. to China and this book helped prepare me for the challenges and opportunities I would face in managing my business from afar.

What's even more impressive is that while the book is a few years old, they were right on the money with many of the insights they discuss. Just a terrific template for my company.

No double that the content is very good and useful in the real world. Unfortunately the print quality is so bad that it makes scanning difficult. Some parts are almost smudgy.

The quality of the printing is terrible, it looks like a bad photocopy, difficult to read. I have a great respect for the authors but I believe this is not their best book, though, it is a good book for reference.
