5.0 out of 5 stars Super Group = Super Fresh
So, many of you all might have been like me and heard about this group and thought, "Bernie Worrell, Karl Denson, Billy Martin, Cyro Baptista, John Popper, DJ Logic... all together? Sounds Super fresh... but who is this Jason Miles guy?"

Answer is he that he is a pretty bad producer, and he and DJ Logic have really cooked up something fresh, and I know it might...

2.0 out of 5 stars Eh
Bought this based on other reviews. I only wanted one track. I should have just purchased the one track as the rest of the cd was a yawner...boring...soul-less...

So, many of you all might have been like me and heard about this group and thought, "Bernie Worrell, Karl Denson, Billy Martin, Cyro Baptista, John Popper, DJ Logic... all together? Sounds Super fresh... but who is this Jason Miles guy?"

Answer is he that he is a pretty bad producer, and he and DJ Logic have really cooked up something fresh, and I know it might sound cheesy to keep using that adjective, but I listen to a lot of music and thus for me the term "fresh" is a special attribute that rarely defines new music groups.

This album is not just a simplified rehashing of the funk/jazz/jam sound... it is truly a beautiful and sumptuous auditory blessing which incorporates the best of the characters involved in the project; great mixing from DJ Logic, always on point Karl Denson, bombastic drumming from illyB, and the forever immaculate and innovative sound of Bernie Worrell.

Cyro Baptista, Suphala, and Falu provide a really interesting world flavor that fully rounds out this CD that has quickly become an exemplar of contemporary jazz/funk/world/electronic fusion in my collection.

Now I just want to see these guys tour!

5.0 out of 5 stars global noize, October 6, 2008

Top musicians, blend elements unlike anything ever!!!

I first saw these guys play live which was amazing to see so many talented musicians together on one stage. To bring it all together, the experience of the jam. This is a must for Miles fans, for Logic fans, for Popper fans, for Worrel fans, for Falu.....Experimentation combining, "Grooves, melodies and vibes of the world united..." Yes indeed five stars.
