Very educational for my 4 & 6 years old
In contrast to the previous reviews, we actually had an excellent experience with the CD. First of all, we ran the software on our old computer with Windows 95 without any problem. Furthermore, my 4- and 6-year-old sons both enjoyed learning facts about different countries (some of them I didn't even know, like the capital of Finland). If you like learning geography...

Not so hot
Not as wonderful as expected. Simple interface is more for the very young child. Nice graphics and very easy to use storyline but way to simple for my 3rd grader.

Software with a lot of bugs,

This cd-rom has a lot of bugs and uses extremely old software. I ran into problems with Quicktime, even though I un-installed my newer version of Quicktime and installed the older version. Thereafter I ran into another sound decompression problem. If you google this at a UK Amazon website, you can read about the other complaints other users have.

doesn't work with upgrades on quicktime,

Error message of video compression since quicktime 2 (which comes with software) You must uninstall all upgrades to your system to run correctly. Will work with an old computer without recent upgrades since 2004.
