From School Library Journal
Grade 5-8-This is not going to be a typical day for Jenny Powers and her friends at Foothill High School in Fremont, CA. A tidal wave is heading for the West coast of the United States and these students need to prepare for an emergency situation. After the crisis, Jenny's friend Armin and his family hastily leave the city. She later receives an urgent e-mail message from him warning her about a biological disaster about to happen at her school. She then must find a way to warn the authorities, especially since the presidents of the U.S. and China are visiting her school the following week. This third book in the trilogy abounds with intrigue and disaster. Jenny, a well-adjusted wheelchair-bound teen, provides the catalyst for the eventual outcome of the story. While the writing isn't as thrilling as the events that unfold, the author does successfully portray teens in a positive light, working to solve each crisis. This novel can be read alone, but to understand the author's concept regarding the domino effects of geological disasters, readers will need to read the previous two books first. An additional purchase.

Review
The hero is Jenny Powers, "a brave young lady struggling to make decisions in a complicated world." In Book 3: Everything is getting back to normal. But, an 8.9 earthquake off the coast of Alaska sends a tidal wave racing toward the Bay Area...the next year, the presidents of the United States and China visit the campus, but, wait, they are in danger. I can't tell you the ending! Mitchell made me promise. --
