I bought this stuff in "automatic pilot mode", blindly trusting on other customer reviews and number of stars. I confess it was a difficult choice since the market has a myriad of options. I compared with other options with nice designs and others with interesting "techie" speech. This one seems to be the BEST product, since it accomplishes what a customer expects despite of all other techie promise: it's VERY fast in reaching sattelites, it's SMALL, PORTABLE, NICE LOOKING, OUTSTANDING BATTERY LIFE, EASY TO USE, PHANTASTIC BLUETOOTH CONNECTIVITY, and comes with a practical car recharger.I bought from Brazil and have never heard about this brand yet in my life. Now I know this is a strong product that really worths the investment. I recommend this product to others and better, I recommend buying this separate bluetooth stuff that connects not only with your smartphone but also with other bluetooth notebooks that can run much better windows-based software for full 15-inch screen (to use inside your boats for example), with many other 3D mapping features. Thanks for the other reviewers for helping me buy the best choice. I'm traveling to Hawaii and taking this stuff with me in my backpack. El GPS GlobalSat BT338 es excelente, tiene una recepción muy sensible, que incluso dentro de recintos capta algun satelite. Yo soy Chileno y en esta Zona capta hasta 10 satelites al mismo tiempo.Muy buen producto y muy pequeño para la utilidad que tiene.

I use this with both a Blackberry phone and a laptop, and have been very happy with it's fast acquisition time, long battery life and great ability to stay locked on even in heavy tree cover and in urban canyons. Did I mention that it's tiny? I just throw it in my briefcase and always have it handy.
