We bought a couple bags when they went on sale and our dog, 80lb husky, loved them. We went thru a bag and about half way thru the second our dog got very sick, appeared as though he had been bitten by a spider or eaten something outside. This wasn't the case he was vomiting and had diarrhea for a couple days. We let this go for 3 days until one night his whole face inflamed and was having a hard time breathing. Took him to the vet and he was suffering from anaphylactic shock. We determined it was from these treats, got it treated and still is trying to get back to 100%. Do not buy these, they are made in China and if you haven't been paying attention to the news the FDA is saying stay away from any pet treats made in China. Had I done my research I'd be 800$ richer and my dog wouldn't still be suffering.

My name is Summer Lynn. I am a golden retriever and I have to give a five-star bark to these wonderful treats! This is my second bag and I cannot get enough!!!
Unfortunately, I am a slight bit overweight so I do not get as many as I would like. I have started bringing my mom socks, shoes, and even towels, just to get this treat.
The bright side is that it is a 48-ounce bag and that lasts a long, long time. I think we're almost out so I will beg for her to order another bag for me as soon as possible. Woof!! :)

This is one of many items that is known to cause kidney failure / death in dogs. My beloved dog passed away due to kidney failure a few days ago. We had been feeding this 'treat' to our dog for a few years.. it was his favorite treat. Upon research, we were basically feeding him dried death sticks. After our vet gave him a blood test and reviewed his diet, she said that the chicken jerky that we have been feeding him had been slowing destroying his kidney.

He was 4 years old.

Kingdom Pets, Waggin Train (sold at Costco for many months), Duck Jerky. Stay away from all of these... stay away from anything made in China. Food, treats, toys, anything.

If you have been feeding these treats to your dog, and are seeing ANY of the following signs, run (don't walk) to the vet and get checked before it is 'too late' :
-Decreased appetite
-Decreased activity/energy
-Vomiting (esp. yellow foamy vomit)
-Diarrhea, sometimes with blood;
-Increased water consumption; and/or Increased urination.
-Urine that is always clear

If you want to cash in on your dog's life insurance.. this is the treat for you.

Otherwise, do yourself a favor. Stay far, far away from anything made in China.

Please pull these from retail. Check out the lawsuits and FDA reviews on this product. The FDA doesn't want to "jump the gun" on issuing a recall, but these have been responsible for the death of hundreds, if not thousands of dogs. Mine is now in a critical condition, blood in his stomach, stool, and urine. All this after a single treat.

My dogs love these treats but until there's proof that these treats that are made in China are safe, I will not feed them to my pets. My dogs are members of my family ... would you feed your baby something that could be poisonous?

The FDA has sat on their haunches until almost 600 pets have died and thousands have become sick. After years of reports they're just now starting to investigate. About time.

Until they find out why these pets are dying, anything from China is suspect and to be avoided.

I cannot believe they are selling these. They made our dog incredibly sick, wish we would have seen the tiny Made In China text on the package.
Stay away from these treats! You are risking your dogs health by feeding them these treats.

Weenj first tried this item when Costco carried it. At that time it was around $12 or $15 a bag. My dog absolutely loved them. She's picky, so it was nice to find something she really enjoyed, until Costco stopped carrying it. At least at this more expensive price there are a lot of pieces n the bag, which lasts us about a month it seems, but we will find a cheaper alternative.
