This review is from: Globalizing Care: Ethics, Feminist Theory, And International Relations (Feminist Theory and Politics) (Paperback)
I enjoyed this book for a number of reasons. First, Robinson motivates the problem of ethics of care and globalization per se. She provides an easy to understand account of ethics of care which is really helpful for those who don't have much background in it. However, the way in which she tries to make care global (which seems contradictory, I know!)is very innovative! I recommend anyone interested in ethics of care or issues surronding globalization, to read this book. While Robinson is certainly doing philosophical work, she is a politcal scientist, and ultimately, very accessible.
