Product Description

The best way to protect yourself from a break-in is to prevent it from happening. Laserscan will do just that. When you turn it on, it's intimidating Lasers scan your premise all night long. When seen from the outside the potential break-in will be averted. Laserscans dramatic impact will make the intruder think he's up against an elaborate, expensive security system and move onto an easier target.

How it was invented:

Laserscan security was created by a business owner having continuous break-ins. He tried all the conventional alarm systems but none stopped the break-ins. He designed this system to be proactive: simply, to prevent the break-in before it happened. It worked! The break-ins stopped! He decided to sell the business's and share Lasersscan with others.

How it works:

Security is 95% perception. Laserscan has two lasers that cover floor to ceiling which scan back and forth 180 degrees all night long (see attached video). Laserscan has the perception of a state of the art, very expensive system in which the intruder will be unsure of it's capabilities. Remember, the key to security is perception! Of all the Laserscans we have sold, not one person, many of which were having a persistent problem (see testimonial videos). has reported a break-in while Laserscan was in operation.

In a nut shell:

Whether you are looking for an inexpensive alternative to a complete security system, or looking to add another layer of protection to your current security system, Laserscan is the answer. It will prevent your alarm from ever being activated. By the time your alarm has gone off it's to late. The break-in has all ready happened and will cost you lots of money and headaches. Laserscan is effective and inexpensive. If it prevents one break-in it's more than paid for itself!

Verified Purchase
I was excited about this product but am sorely disappointed.
The Lasers are not bright enough. Unless your room is pitch black you can't really see them. Construction quality is very poor. The screen printing on the front is not very good.
This would be an okay product for $65.
Mine arrived broken and I took it apart to fix it. The insides are held in place with hot glue. the "warranty void" label was just a normal Avery label you'd use to mail an envelope with.
There are 3 dip switches on the side of the unit but what they do isn't covered in the very short instructions.

Keep your money.

I purchased this unit in May and between May and August I went through 5 units which all had different failure problems.
The company was polite and took back my unit promptly and replaced it with a new unit each time, but each new unit had some type of a breakdown shortly after operation. I requested a complete refund and they agreed to it and it will be forth coming. I do need to note here that I purchased the identical unit without the built in timer. I believe that this unit is no longer being manufactured any more.

Finally, I want to express my disappointment because I loved the unit and what it did when it was working. If it continued to work I would have been more than satisfied and would have even paid more for the function that it performed. I'm now looking for anything on the market that remotely does what this system does, but can not find anything remotely similar.

I recently bought one of these as I don't exactly live in a select neighbourhood. It arrived promptly and the instructions were very easy to follow and I had it setup in no time at all, the problems started when I turned it on. I had somewhat of a shock when the laser beam was directed straight into my eyes which immediately blinded me, after stumbling backwards and tripping over the cat I hit my head on the wooden table behind which promptly rendered me unconscious. I awoke some time later to find most of the contents of my flat had been removed.
