I am using three of the four transformer outlets for my iBook, iPod and cell phone, and one of the four regular outlets for a lamp. The six foot cord is right for reaching the wall outlet. This is the only surge protector I've seen with room for so many transformers. The feature allowing you to cover unused outlets is nice.
