A great book for anyone who likes fun, solvable cryptics,

This book begins with a solving guide that really lays out the techniques for cryptic crossword solving. A brief discussion of a type of clue is immediately followed by a short puzzle featuring the type of clue just discussed as well as those already covered. It allows you to build on and practice solving skills. The book features lots of good standard cryptics plus some fun variety puzzles at the end. Clues are generally difficult, but not as impossible as some cryptics I've tried to solve! Anyone who enjoys cryptics will love this book. I have only one complaint. Where's the sequel? |
