This disc has 5 episodes and each one is fantastic on its own. I never knew Ethiopia had so much water - my images of a famine struck arid country were so wrong. I learned so much from Ian Wright about Madagascar, Zanzibar & Tanzania as well as Ethiopia. Nicki Grosse and her trek and mountain climbing pitfalls (and malaria) gave us a real feel for the disease aftermath and the rigors of climbing in the Uganda/Congo area. She was wonderful. Estelle Bingham traveled in Kenya. The scenes of the Rift Valley are worth seeing. These are countries I have only read about in books but this set of episodes made you FEEL like you had been there. Highly recommended.
