I like a cup of coffee with character, and thus far this Black Gold Extra Bold has delivered. The "Extra Bold" defines that this K-Cup carries an extra 20-30% of coffee per serving than the standard K-Cup, and as a result this delivers the extra kick that I tend to like. We only brew at the 7.25oz, and sometimes the 5.25oz volume on our B-70 brewer as we prefer a stronger cup of joe. This roast is on the dark side, and delivers flavor with intensity, and a nice smoky essence as described. I also find that this provides a hint of crema, much like a shot of espresso when brewed fresh. We like it, and if you like stronger coffee, we think you will too! Try it!

Smooth, dark, rich, bold. Great cup every time, always hot. Only complaint is, GJ is more expensive than other brands, but here on Amazon's is best price.

Full, deep and rich. I love strong brews and rich flavors and this one is all of the above. Tastes like you're drinking COFFEE.

This coffee is one of my favorites. Every cup taste fresh and flavorful. What a great invention, these k cups and Gloria Jean is one of the best. I usually drink this robust one in the morning and the Mudslide flavor in the evening to unwind from my work day!

I love really bold flavored coffees, and so far, I've found that this is one that I like to drink. Though just a little stronger would be great!

I like strong coffee, and many of the samples I received with my initial Keurig purchase were light or medium. So I ordered the Black and Gold so I'd have another "bold" option (I like Newman's Own Extra Bold, which was the best of the samples I received). Unfortunately, this is not my favorite K-cup. Since it's not bitter, it's drinkable; I just don't care for the smokey flavor underneath. I will finish the pack but probably won't buy again.

Gloria Jean's Black Gold is a Extra Bold Kcup that makes a strong,Bold flavorful Cup of coffee without the Bitter backend found in many Dark Roasted coffee.
I recommend it at the 7.25 Oz cup setting.

I am a black coffee person. GJ's black gold is the best in comparison to midnight magic, jet fuel and black tiger. Although these 3 are excellent, GJ just stronger with better flavor.

This is the second time I have ordered Gloria Jean's coffee. It is my favorite brand and flavor. The smokey undertones did it for me. Yum! Amazon's price is also the best so far. It's even cheaper than Bed, Bath and Beyond with a 20% coupon.

I especially love GJ's Black Gold Extra Bold, because the flavor is robust while not being too acidic or overly strong. I run one K-Cup twice through my Keurig (7.5 oz cups, times two). This way, I get the perfect 15 oz cup of coffee for my taste. I've tried this method with other brands/brews, but they are too weak after 2 times through--so I'll be sticking with Black Gold Extra Bold.

With their Subscribe & Save program, I've found that Amazon has the best "per cup" pricing around (.33 to .35 cents per K-Cup). Plus, once it's set up you just have to await the next shipment, and shipping is free!

I'd definitely recommend this coffee, and Amazon's Subscribe & Save program. You can't beat either one!
