This album was produced and recorded by Chris Strachwitz. According to the liner notes, these songs were recorded at her daughter's house after a performance at San Antonio's Hemisphere Plaza Banquet Room sponsored by radio station KCOR.
The entire album is just her with self accompaniment on 12-string guitar - Absolutely Fabulous!
With the changing rhythms and flawless picking, her achievement as a skilled guitarist is undeniable. The intensity of the paso doble- "Silverio Perez" is a master guitar lesson for all. Her oratorical style produces an immediate sentimiento(emotional reaction) on "Collar de Perlas" and "Malaguena Salerosa." Looking for lively rancheras - "Amor Bonito"(written by Lydia Mendoza), "Ojitos Verdes" and "Aunque Venga Muy Borracho."
