Acid Mothers Temple - 'Glorify Astrological Martyrdom' (Important Records) 4 1/2 stars, November 20, 2010
Still, one more of the eight (that's right, 8) Acid Mothers Temple discs that were released in 2008. You get three tracks - "Phantom Utopia Or Suicidal Warriors" (21:49) which is a good dose of 'volcanic' psychedelic - heavy space rock as only AMT can give us. Then, there's "Cosmic Soul Death Disco" (28:51) which is another head-spinning lethal guitar-ridden freak-out attack and (sort of) a semi-rarity - well for AMT - an actual average-length song "Stargate Of The Hell" (5:00). This CD may be a bit repetitive but it's all good. Worthy follow-up to their 'Crystal Rainbow Pyramid' effort (see my review).
