The illustration of Humpty Dumpty in this collection has won the heart of our 14 month old daughter (and her parents). The book is full of favorite rhymes and classic illustrations. And it even has a few of the "politically incorrect" ones .

This book was not exactly what I expected but is still nice. The cover had no pictures, it looks like a library edition without the sleeve, which I did not order. This edition included several rhymes that I wanted but could not find in one verion together which is a plus, but they don't have the additional verses that I sing to my daughter so she was dissapointed as well. The illustrations are wonderful in this book. Overall its good if you are looking for short rhymes but if you are wanting the full versions get something else.

There is absolutely no Mother Goose edition that can hold a flame to this one, and I've looked at a lot of them. They either lack in the illustrations or in the rhyme selections.

Cooper Edens has selected exquisite illustrations for each of the rhymes here. All the old favorites are included and a number of lesser known ones to keep it novel.

A great buy. A must-have in my home library.
