Cool single, now obsolete,

This review is from: Glory to Brave (Audio CD)
"Glory to the Brave" was the title track and first single from Swedish power metal warriors' 1997 debut album. The 4-song single includes the following songs:
1. Glory to the Brave (radio edit) - This version shaves about two minutes off the song's original length. I never liked radio edits, and the idea of a power metal song getting radio play is kind of odd in the first place. 2. Ravenlord - This is a cover of the cult classic Stormwitch song, and was the main reason to buy this single. It has since been included on the band's Masterpieces collection, making this single obsolete. 3. I Believe (live) - This live track was recorded at the band's 1997 Wacken performance. 4. Glory to the Brave - This is the same version you get on the Glory to the Brave album. This was a cool single, and for a while it was well worth tracking down. Now that the Stormwitch cover is available elsewhere, there's not much reason to own this disc.

Just a Great Band,

Hammerfall keeps going. If you know Hammerfall you must know Glory to the Brave, the song which gives its name to their first album. Both Glory to the Brave and Ravenlord are good songs. It is worth for 5 bucks. But it is hard to find. You will wait to get it.
