3.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good
I thought the storyline of this is good. It gives you a glimpse of all the factors of racing. Even if it is negative. I figured all along that it was Jim and Joe involved in the drugging. It made me mad when the crowd booed Ashleigh in her races! That was when I wanted the mystery to solve right away. I noticed some minor mistakes in the book too. One is when they all...

One is when they all first got to the track, a comment was made by Samantha, saying that they would be running tomorrow. But they never did. And another was Sammy was there for the morning workout, but then they mentioned she showed up, finally, to Belmont, later on that afternoon? Dates and times got screwed up in here. But nothing that is going to spoil the outcome of the book. Also, Ashleigh mentioned she was going to give them a surprise after the race. Even though I now what it is(just from reading the back of the book to #17) I still think they would have given off the surprise.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Book! Save TB!!!, January 17, 2005
By
I've read this book so many times I think I know it off by heart. I still love it, even though some of the details are a little far-out. I just can't believe that Harper Collins is considering ENDING the TB series!!! I started reading these books when they first came out, and, even though I'm now 19, I still love to read them! Glory in Danger was an excellent book, really a great read!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic!!, December 29, 2002
A Kid's Review
I really loved this book because I love horses and mysteries. But, it seems that Joanna Campbell has changed her writing style. I like it, though. I have read all the books in this series and I just ordered this one. It was fantastic!
This book was about how Glory, a wonderful horse that Cindy McLean calls her own, is on a race winning streak. But, after he wins a race by an impressive 10 lentghs, people start getting suspicious. Then Glory tests positive for drugs and when Cindy and her friend Max stay in his stall one night Cindy AND Glory almost lose their lives. This was book and great book about the very special bond between Cindy and Glory.

4.0 out of 5 stars I Love These Books!, March 13, 2000
By A Customer
I love all these books and even if I'm a little old for the books I still enjoy them just as much. This book was not one of the best in the series, but I really liked the way they put a mystery into the plot of the book. It made the book so good that I read the whole thing on one hour and a half plane ride.I enjoy reading the books that were writtin by Joanna Champbell a lot more because at least she dosen't make any writing or name errors. Thats one thing you should look for when reading this book.Over all I think this book is another great book added on to the sereies.

This book was really good and I liked it a lot. For anyone who hasn't read this book, let me tell you that Thoroughbred books are GREAT! After you've read tons like I have you get sick of them for a little while, but then you fall in love again. I like the way these stories are intense and really get you involved. When ever something bad happens I sometimes feel like shouting, or crying, depending on the situation. I wish they involved Ashleigh more though. She's my favorite character. Read this book!

3.0 out of 5 stars Get this straight!!!, June 25, 1999
By A Customer
Alright, I love this series and I have all the books in it but some people need to get the facts right! Towsend Pride is not one of Wonder's foal's, he is her sire! Also, Townsend Prince is not Townsend Pride's sire, he is Townsend Pride's son! Also Cindy is just too fake! No 13 year old can control a full-grown racehorse, I have ridden a few retired thoroughbred racehorses myself and I know that they are not a piece of cake! Else the book is pretty good except for the fact that no horse can be as fast as Glory, and everyone looses a few! Well, I wish someone would change the facts in this book!

5.0 out of 5 stars I have never been a Cindy fan, but I love this book!, February 16, 2005
A Kid's Review
The Cindy and second generation eventing portions of the series were dark days for Thoroughbred. This book is an exception. I thoroughly enjoyed the intrigue and adventure contained in the story and would reccomend it to any young horse fan. The newest few Thoroughbred books have been even more exceptional. Just as we thought there was hope for the Thoroughbred series to be restored to its former glory Harper Collins has decided to end the series abruptly after #72. With such a dedicated following and online fan base with members from all over the world, this is a classic and beloved series that has inspired many people and provided horse fans with vicarious thrills and adventure. Ashleigh saved Wonder, now it's up to you to help save Thoroughbred. [...]
