5.0 out of 5 stars A great mix of punk, June 29, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Glory Daze: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (Audio CD)
Buy this. If you are considering buying a punk disc, this should be it. Great songs from The Vandals, Bouncing Souls, The Mr. T experience, and NOFX. Very solid, and extremely fun. It is extremely hard to find a highlight, because the album is put together so well. As far as sountracks go, this could be the best.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the most influential cds, February 25, 2011
This review is from: Glory Daze: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (Audio CD)
Besides being of my all-time favorite movies, looking back over the 15 years since I bought this CD and at the almost 900 cds I have purchased, this is probably the single most influenctial cd in my collection, introducing me to punk music like NOFX and The Vandals who I had no idea had been around since before 80's hair bands. Whether you have been into punk for 30+ years or just getting into it, this is a great collection of music to have. And PLEASE check out the movie. It is a movie about the life-long friends we make in college and the struggle to answer the biggest question in college, "Now that I am about to graduate, what the F&$@ am I going to do now?"

5.0 out of 5 stars The sum of all my fears....., March 7, 2003
This review is from: Glory Daze: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (Audio CD)
.......great soundtrack for sure...this is a generation x movie led by Ben Affleck....I liked the movie though...he looked so funny with his NOFX albums and posters all over the room, and gibberishing some Bouncing Souls song....all that is great l..the only bad thing was that sorry movie...the sum of all fears....where he acted totally wrong....being a slave of the country instead of making fun of it like all good punkers....nice album anyway...

5.0 out of 5 stars Hey Music Fan in Chicago, September 21, 2000

This review is from: Glory Daze: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (Audio CD)
I'm in Chicago too. Glory Daze is one of the greatest "Gen X" movies ever made because it comes closest to truthfully portraying people of that age-group. Anyhow, the song by Mudhoney, "Acetone" is on the album Piece Of Cake.
