About the Author

Chad Bonham has been working in mass media for over 20 years. He has written extensively for such publications as Relevant, CCM, Christian Retailing, New Man, Charisma, Today's Christian, Ministries Today, Breakaway, Brio, Sports Spectrum, Christian Single, Faith & Friends, Sharing the Victory and Gospel Today. Chad is currently writing two feature columns for  Inspiring Athletes and Whole Notes: Inside The Christian Music Scene. He has authored or contributed significantly to 12 books including Wrestling with God (River Oak) and the co-authored Spiritual Journeys (Relevant). The first half of Chad's four-book series on FCA's core values released in August 2008 (Integrity and Serving) and the second half released in February 2009 (Excellence and Teamwork) through Regal Books.  Chad and his wife Amy live in Broken Arrow, Okla., with sons Lance (September 2003), Cole (February 2008) and Quinn (February 2011). He attends Hope Church and previously served five years as Youth Pastor for R.U.S.H. Student Ministries. Chad is also a drummer and songwriter for the worship team and has over 30 years experience traveling, performing and recording with various music groups.

Chad Bonham is a journalist, author and broadcast producer. He has worked in mass media for over 25 years. Chad's professional journey began at the University of Tulsa where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (1993) while working extensively in athletic media relations and serving as a sports editor for The Collegian.

Since then, he has written extensively for such publications as Relevant, CCM, Christian Retailing, Charisma, FCA Magazine, Today's Christian, Ministries Today, Breakaway, Brio, Sports Spectrum, Christian Single and Gospel Today. Chad also served as the contributing editor for New Man for three years, and currently writes two columns for (Inspiring Athletes and Whole Notes: Inside The Christian Music Industry).

He has authored, co-authored or ghost written 18 books including Faith in the Fast Lane (Judson Press), Wrestling with God (River Oak), Glory of the Games (Cross Training), Life in the Fairway (New Leaf), Greatest Coach Ever (Regal Books), Greatest Leader Ever (Regal Books), Husker Legacy (Cross Training), 3D Coach (Regal Books), The Bandimere Way (Cross Training) and FCA's Four Core Value Series including Excellence, Integrity, Serving and Teamwork (Regal Books).

Chad co-authored devotionals for 2006 and 2007 editions of the FCA Athletes Bible (Serendipity House) and co-developed and wrote the FCA summer camp curriculum from 2008 through 2014. He was also a primary contributor to both the FCA Baseball New Testament (Biblica), the FCA Hockey New Testament (Biblica) and the FCA Wrestling New Testament (Biblica).

Chad served as the coordinating producer on the documentaries "Life Happens" (Brightbulb Entertainment) and "Choosing Life" (ACLJ Films). He is currently producing and writing a forthcoming documentary "Before the Kick: The Brian Kinchen Story."

Chad and his wife Amy live in Broken Arrow, Okla., with sons Lance (September 2003), Cole (February 2008) and Quinn (February 2011).
