5.0 out of 5 stars My glorious Glory Girls!, August 22, 2010

This review is from: The Glory Girls (Hardcover)
"My" Glory Girls because I wrote it! I had an idea to write a book celebrating the centenary of the Fannys. My agent asked for a saga spanning one hundred years - to be written in three months. I made it, research included, with one day to spare and my agent claimed that I had turned the saga into a wartime thriller. For me that was brilliant news since I have always wanted to write thrillers and have been gradually inserting an injection of suspense in all my books. How I enjoyed writing The Glory Girls! There's lots of excitement, lots of humour and drama, and the ubiquitous romance at the heart of things. If this book doesn't please you, then take a look at my other titles - they are all different. And, I've just had my seventh full-length novel accepted by Robert Hale - "The Raging Spirit", set in the wild islands of St Kilda in 1900. An adventure wrapping itself around intrigue, murder and romance. It's expected to be published in 2011, so keep looking in.
