Wonderfully large, cinematic, epic instrumental album.

Whether a long time MWS fan, or a newcomer, you'll surely enjoy this album!

It simply just doesn't get any better than Michael's piano backed up with a symphony orchestra! Much of what one hears on this album, one would expect to hear at the local symphony orchestra, or as a film score, or even at a Disney park. IT IS REALLY THAT GOOD!

GLORY is the same vein as FREEDOM showcases patriotism. Yet this project does so much more: it gives me a sense of comfort.

While I love Michael's genuine and bold statments of faith in God in his more traditional Smitty projects with lyrics, this instrumental project touches the soul without words, with no less effect.

The songs are aptly titled. Close your eyes while you listen to the album, and you'll know their titles without even reading the CD jacket. From the John Williams influence of the opening "Glory Overture", to the visuals of Arlington Cemetary with "Heros"; from the mysterious and suspenseful "Glory Battle" to the feeling of ballet in "Whitacker's Wonder"; from the humble, consoling, and soothing of "Forver", "Giving", and "Joy Follow Sorrows" to the majestic tribute of "Tribute / Agnus Dei".

In what seems to be a newer trend, Michael captivates with the entire album, while saving the absolute best track for last. "TRIBUTE / AGNUS DEI" is by far my favorite track. PLAY IT LOUD!

I just can't stop listening to GLORY! It will be my MP3 player's new favorite for a LONG time!

This new project from Michael W Smith is awesome! I love the range of emotions that this album delivers. There is no sweeter sound than listening to Michael at the piano. If you like "Freedom", then you will love "Glory"!

i got it on his site when i first Heard he was coming out with it.
think there are a mix of song that are better than his first.
And others that are not. but all of the songs are Really Good.
my favorites are Redemption Whitakers wonder and the tribute/Agnus Dei

I am not a fan of MW. I listen to all music. Even Rap and Hip Hop, Rock & Roll. This is first time, MW show me how beautiful on his music.

I have loved and listened to Freedom, his previous instrumental work, for years. After listening to Glory just once, I love it even more than Freedom. It has such an upbeat and hopeful tone, but yet, it is deep and moving. I see this as an improvement to Freedom. It is more musically complex and mature at times. When I listen to it, I feel encouraged. It is a way for me to connect with God and feel His love. It is an extraordinary work.

Smitty has done it yet again. What a beautiful instrumental masterpiece! "Glory" is a compilation of soothing music with such talent, creativity, and inspiration all wrapped up in one. It is a presentation you will just love.
As you go about your day-- whether you are commuting, studying, going for a walk, relaxing... this is easy listening anytime. I have been a Michael W. Smith fan for as long as I can remember.. 20+ years.. and he never ceases to amaze me as each new album comes out. Truly a gifted and talented artist. This is a great gift for others as well for any occasion.. it was part of my Christmas gift giving .. a gift I was happy to share with others. If you are contemplating the purchase... go for it! I have full confidence you'll enjoy it!

This album is amazing. If you like full orchestra sound with a movie soundtrack feel, I highly recommend it. It is OUTSTANDING! As a band nerd who was in the pit and therefore hung around percussionists all the time, I found myself drumming to the album multiple times. Then, as a choir nerd, I also found myself directing to it. And sometimes I couldn't decide which to do. :)

I would absolutely LOVE to hear this album in a theater with surround sound speakers, set to pictures of God's creation. GLORY indeed!

I got this album the week before Christmas. I was just blown away by the amazing talent of this man of God. Every single track on this CD was perfect and wonderfully done. Every single song is worth hearing again and again. I wish somebody would take all the songs from this album and from his Freedom album and use them both in a major movie picture. The song The Tribute/Agnus Dei is a great song to end the album. That song is worth planning over again and again and LOUDLY! Buy this album either in the store or off the Itunes store and enjoy!

I saw MJS in concert last week with the Toledo Symphony Orchestra. The show was amazing! Anyhow, when he would intro pieces from "Glory", he would start to say, "This is my favorite...", but then he would say they're all his favorites. After listening to the album, I now understand where he was coming from. Excellent, excellent compositions. I have never loved an entire album of instrumentals as much as I love this. In fact, I love it so much, I'm going to buy some more copies for family and friends.

Michael W. Smith has done it again...amazing album! The patriotism in the songs is evident. The orchestra and piano playing demands you to play it loud! I love every song on this album but if I had to list a favorite it would be the one with Agnus Dei (grrr, I can't remember the name of the entire song). That song never ceases to move me. Even if you have never heard of Michael W. Smith (and if you haven't check out all his albums!) but enjoy beautiful, sweeping, moving instrumentals..BUY THIS NOW!
