My wife checked her laptop on a plane, and the airline predictably broke the screen. I had never changed a laptop screen before was a little bit nervous.

I ordered this off Amazon, and it arrived the next day in packaging looking like it could survive a 100ft drop. Even with next day shipping (via Prime) it was cheaper than any of the other 5 sites I checked.

Installation was easy. I had to remove 16 screws, and unplug 2 cables. Then just reverse the process and you're done. It took 20 minutes only because I had never done it before.

The quality of the screen looks better than the original. It's bright, clear and perfect. I don't know if it's the same as the original, but it said it was made by LG.

Wouldn't hesitate to order this again!
