It really glows & no batteries needed!
For the care bear lover-this really does glow. It does not glow all night, just enough glow until the little one falls asleep. The tummy, nose, ears and heart feet give off a green glow in darkness, when exposed to light briefly. No batteries needed-the bear has special fabric on the above stated parts.

CAUTION!! This caused a 2nd and 3rd degree burn on my child
My daughter who is 5, held the bear up to a light too long and it fell on her leg and caused a severe burn! I am aware my daughter over charged the bear, but they are intended for children this age and I am sure that my daughter will not be the last one to do this. I did contact the company that manufatured it, and I had to send pics and the bear, BUT he told me flat out...

I got this for my daughter for Christmas. She needed more girl things since she has an older big brother and nothing in this house is for girls. Being only 21months I was concerned because it's not really for her age. Boy was I wrong. She loves this bear and with the small Best Friends Care Bear she got also she thinks that Love-A-Lot is the momma and Best Friends is her baby. How cute!! Its also awesome that this bear glows in the dark . The nose, belly, hands and feet. But if it gets exposed to a lot of light the whole thing glows!! I would recommend this Care Bear. I love it and so does my baby girl.

We Love Care Bears already and these glow in the dark ones are so cute! My daughter ( 1 year old ) LOVES them! She kisses her care bears and really likes this new glow in the dark love-a-lot bear! TOO CUTE! :)

this is great for people who love care bears like me i know im 10 a liitle old to be playing with one but when the lights go of they glow and glow because me and my sister fight over it but i love to play my favorite is bedtime bear and the whole point is of this review is it the awsome plush toy for little kids for infants to my age (10) so go out right now and buy this for your kid
