Having just finished reading this book to my seven year old child, we can both say we enjoyed it very much. He was enthralled by the many unusual creatures with which we share the world and was prompted to ask questions night after night (I read one chapter each evening). I especially liked the way the author related nature's amazing facts to our spiritual lives, thereby providing the context for nightly talks about God and our relationship with Him. In no way scientifically intimidating, each chapter is filled with pronunciation guides, definitions, and explanations that make it easy for children to follow. A few games and puzzles round out a biblically sound book that parent s can use to teach (and learn!) and older children will enjoy reading on their own. Highly recommended.

This is a fantastic book with correlations and facts from nature that are just amazing. Anyone who can read this book and believe that a loving, awesome Creator did not plan and create the entire universe needs to reread every word. Everything from a God creating white flowers to attract bats to Fibonacci numbers that can be found in sunflowers, pineapples and pinecones
