Recently, diagnosed with Celiac Disease, I was frustrated about baking for the holidays. All the other gluten free all purpose flours needed xanthan gum added. You could make your own flour, which to me would be very expensive. Then, I found this flour. I am so happy I did. I made pie crust for all the Thanksgiving pies and it worked wonderfully. There was no difference in taste or flakiness.My family loved all of them.I also used this flour to thicken some gumbo and it worked better than regular all purpose flour. Now, I can bake my favorite Christmas cookies and eat them,too. The company has recipes on their website. You don't have to spend a lot of money on gluten free cookbooks or on expensive ingredients to make your own flour. This flour was made to replace regular flour cup for cup. You can use all your current cookbooks and make family favorites.

This is absolutely the best Gluten Free flour replacer around. I have attended the Gluten Free Food Expo in Chicago every year since it started and gotten to try all kinds of flour replacers, and hands down this is the best. I am not Celiac, however my fiancee is. Meister's Gluten Free Flour Replacer is the only flour replacer we have had that I honestly cannot tell a difference between wheat flour in most recipes. This flour replacer ALWAYS ends up light and fluffy rather than the normal dense and flat that we are used to getting from gluten free.

This flour is fantastic! I use it in all my cooking. It makes great gravy, cookies, you name it! The cup for cup substitution works very well,and is super convenient. Just an all-around great product.
