These gluten-free recipes are fantastic! I could not believe I was eating gluten free. Some of this stuff tasted better than the best "real" cakes I have had, and everything I tried was truly delicious. Highly recommended! I also found the publisher's web-site, SureTalent-Books.com, Gluten-Free & Wheat-Free Gourmet Desserts and now have a print version for myself and a friend that also prefers printed copy.

I recently found out that I am sensitive to wheat products and began trying out various gluten/wheat- items at health food stores. Not only were they expensive, but they didn't taste like the real thing. The selection was limited and often tasted like cardboard. But then I came across this book.. even my fiance, who doesn't have a wheat/gluten allergy, couldn't tell that he was eating gluten-free! I'm working my way through the book. So far we've tried the cheesecake, the lemon berry upside down cake, and the brownies (don't cook them too long or they'll dry out. We did that the first time since we didn't realize our oven runs hot and just had it with ice cream - still delicious). Amazingly, we were able to find all of the ingredients at our local H.E.B (grocery store) and didn't have to go to make the drive out to Whole Foods.Love this book. It really made the transition from eating gluten-free less painful and more enjoyable.

I'm so excited to see that this cookbook is now being offered as a kindle book! How wonderful! I've had the hard copy for quite a while and have been so happy with the quality of the recipes and how accurate and helpful the pictures of each recipe are.I've often tried out the cakes, cookies, and other goodies I've baked from this cookbook on friends and family who are not on gluten free diets, and they can never tell that what I'm feeding them is gluten free! It's clear that whoever came up with the recipes was unwilling to sacrifice taste or texture when coming up with gluten free recipes--the cakes are moist, rich, and textured like a regular wheat containing cake, and the cookies, biscotti, and other goodies I've tried all live up to their wheat containing counterparts in taste and texture. Given how expensive commercial, pre-made or boxed gluten free products are still, and how low quality many of them are, this cookbook is a really great deal. You'll be able to make tons of really satisfying food. And, with the recipes ranging from really easy to moderately challenging, both the most practiced and the most unpracticed cooks can find cooking satisfaction in this gluten free desserts book. Bottom line is that this is a great gluten free cookbook. I recommend you try everything, but especially the prize winning carrot cake...YUM!

Great recipes. I have the print-version of this book and it is a favorite! I can't believe the gluten free desserts made from this book actually taste better than food with gluten!

This book is fantastic! The recipes are easy to follow and best of all, the desserts are wonderful! You wouldn't even know they were gluten-free!

I was not only impressed with how beautifully this book was on my coffee table (soft bound copy)The recipes are to die for. Well researched combinations of ingredients and a gutsy risk taking kind of flare for inventive baking, this book is not only good for the gluten free...it is good for all bakers who want impressive desserts to share at the end of great meals.BRAVO!

I must say this is my first experience buying a dessert book . . . on my Kindle non-the-less. This book has a ton of fabulous recipes and they are super easy to make.I was diagnosed Celiac a few years ago, and one thing that I really missed was my desserts. Not now! I have found my Garden of 'Eatin' when it comes to GF desserts. This book has wonderful color photos, easy-to-follow recipes and a large variety of items to make. If you like desserts, you can't go wrong with this e-book. It's a gem.

Thanks Laura & Mike! This is one of my most used cookbooks, unfortunately my creations never look as pretty as the photos in the book - but they taste scrumptious. I am not a celiac and received this book as a gift. I was dubious at first thinking my creations would be missing flavor - but I was very mistaken. Everything I've made from this book has been fantastic! My favorite is the turtle cheesecake (YUM). my girls love the peanut butter cookies and my father-in-law the Pearl Tapioca Pudding.We entertain often and have several friends who are celiac and I love spoiling them by making wonderful creations that they can enjoy along with everyone else. I have even bought a copy for a friend who caters for rock bands! She uses it on tour and has been complimented for her yummy puddings too (hers look pretty).

I have never had a problem with foods containing processed wheat products, so I had never tried gluten-free foods. I always thought gluten-free foods were dry and very dense. However, the recipes contained in this book result in desserts that I can't tell the difference from those prepared using wheat flour. I have friends who have health issue which prevent them from eating gluten, so I have used recipes in this book to provide them dessert options they were previously unable to enjoy. For anyone trying to avoid processed wheat or wanting to enhance your healthy lifestyle, this is a must have book.

Using this cookbook, I have been able to produce wonderful desserts for all my friends and family that require gluten free food. I have received nothing but compliments on the recipes. The big test on this cookbook is how my friends and family who do NOT require gluten-free food receive the recipes(including myself). I can say that this book passes with flying colors, as the recipes are tasty even if you can eat gluten and wheat. I highly recommend this book for any kitchen.
