More About the Author

Alisha Rai has been enthralled with romance novels since she smuggled her first tattered Harlequin home from the library at the age of thirteen. A mild-mannered professional problem-solver by day, she pens sexy, emotional contemporaries and paranormals by night.

When she's not reading or working, Alisha loves to hang out with her close-knit family. She happily lives in a chaotic house filled with clutter, laughter, good food, boisterous kids, and very loud relatives.

Alisha adores hearing from readers! Feel free to send an email at alishawrites@gmail.com or find her on Twitter @AlishaRai.

I really avoid 3-some books, but the premise of this one was believable to me (not necessarily from her cultural background, but certainly from the twin brothers wanting the same woman and sharing well). The premise made me think the end could work and what woman out there would want the hottest guy in your dreams times 2? The character development was really good - you got to see as things went along the personalities of the characters and how they evolved too, because of the relationship. I liked other books by Alisha Rai so gave it a chance and am so happy I did....would love to see more like this from her!

Genre: Erotica, Romance,
I really enjoyed this read. Its 232 kindle pages, so a decent length and the story covers a couple of weeks so its a very “in the instant” read, not one that covers a lengthy romance.
I love Devi, she’s always been mothered by not only her actual mother but her sisters too. They’re a very close Indian family and seem to view Devi’s mistakes in choosing a man in the past as meaning its something she needs help with now . they don’t seem to see that she’s grown up now – everyone makes mistakes, learn from them and maybe they don’t know her and her history as well as they think. Devi loves them though, knows they mean well even if it is irritating, so tends to go along with their suggestions but she’s shocked when Rana suggest a one night of hot sex with the two delicious twins that frequent their restaurant. Rana knows Jace finds Devi attractive, his frequent visits and questions about her have given that away. She’s heard from gossip that he share’s everything with his twin, and they only do one night stands, which she thinks is just what Devi needs to get her into the mood for dating again after her split a year past from her ex.
Devi thinks its a joke at first, these two fabulous hot guys can’t want her, she’s not the pretty sister, the outgoing one, that’s Rani, she’s the curvy, quiet one. She thinks she’s been set up by her sisters, that maybe they’ve put the brothers up to it and gets very upset. She’s long been attracted to Jace though, so once they convince her they mean it, they want her and its not been arranged by anyone but themselves its sizzling and sensual sex all round. Marcus thinks its their usual one nighter, but Jace is tired of that and has other plans.

I loved the character development in this story. While the book is not long, it is long enough for you to understand quite a bit about the characters. Devi is an insecure young woman with two older, beautiful and sexy sisters. That Devi is the one that the brothers are interested in shocks her and she believes her sister has set her up. This story is funny, touching and full of quirky sub-characters that round out the story well. I loved it and have read it twice already! I'm definitely looking forward to reading more from this author.

Alisha Rai has some of the most powerful storytelling skills that I have ever had the pleasure of reading. My very first book by her was A Gentleman in the Street. It was a recommendation by an author friend. At first I was skeptical because Aisha Rai just didn't seem to have enough reader following for me to invest. But then I was offered a deal I couldn't refuse ... If I didn't like the book, my friend would pay for it. #SOLD

OK, not only did i like the book, I immediately bought every single other book Alisha Rai had ever written within the subject matter I like to read. Actually, like doesn't even begin to do my feelings justice. I was in awe. Nothing's changed since that day and I have read quite a few of her books since.

Glutton for Pleasure was no exception. This book was 99% flawless (I'll be telling you about that 1% in a bit).

This is a story about a woman hiding in the dark and the two men who come find her and walk her into the light. Devi Malik is plagued with insecurities. Between her mother's constant criticism and her sister's constant judgement and her past failed relationships, she is very happy living life behind the scenes. It's not that she doesn't consider herself attractive, she's just not a size zero and she is very curvaceous. And in her experience, those facets have worked against her. Until ... Jace and Marcus Callahan .

Jace and Marcus are brothers. Brothers with a bond. A bond stronger than that of mere siblings. A bond forged from a childhood riddled with misfortune, abuse, torture and insecurities. An impenetrable bond that led them down the path to sexually sharing women. Sexual ménage is all they know. It's all they want. Marcus is the aloof brother. He makes love to women but never attaches. He's there for the sex.

I’ve seen this author’s work around for quite some time but I’ve never been inclined to read her work. I’m glad I finally did. I liked this one so much that I already have the second book in the Pleasure Series on my TBR. Considering this was originally published in ’09, it still holds up as a good read with ménage (m/f/m) content. The Callahan brothers, Jace and Marcus, have always preferred bedding the same woman. If they can bed her together that’s ideal. Once Jace sees Devi Malik during a restaurant visit, he’s immediately besotted and wants her for himself and twin, Marcus. The shy, sheltered Devi is the chef at her family’s Indian themed restaurant and how she even gets involved in these guys is quite interesting – thanks to one of her older loving yet meddlesome sisters.

I stay away from ménage stories about brothers especially twins. There’s just something that I’m not a fan of anymore after reading another story about twins where the twins ended up being incestuous. That story completely ruined me for that content, I mean completely; this is my redemption attempt and Rai didn’t disappoint. I can’t decide who I enjoyed more, Jace or Marcus. Jace is the nice, sweet, wear his feelings on his sleeves kind of guy and that made him very easy to fall for. I mean what sane woman wouldn’t want a guy who appreciates everything about her, from the clothes she wears to the way her face crinkles when she concentrating. But even with that, it’s not a given for Jace. He’s got feelings like the next person and he certainly doesn’t enjoy those feelings getting trampled on. For me, his finest moments and when his personality really shines are when he isn’t just that nice guy particularly with Devi or Marcus.
