Product Description

Glycerin Vegetable KOSHER USP Food Grade - NON GMO - 1 Quart (43 oz.) 1 Quart (43 oz.) in quality HDPE quart container with resealable lid. Pure 100% Kosher USP food grade vegetable glycerin. Vegetable glycerin is a natural emollient that adds a cooling effect on the skin and has become a predominant ingredient in most skin care products and soaps. It is used in cosmetics and body care products to assist in retaining moisture and is helpful in pulling oxygen into the skin. Vegetable glycerin is also the principal medium for the manufacturing of non-alcohol based herbal extracts, which are called glycerites. This makes for a sweet alcohol free extract that can be easily administered to children, animals and those with alcohol sensitivities. Kosher certified and suitable for food and cosmetic use.

We use this for our e-cig DIY juice. Works perfectly! I had been paying 10 times more for smaller quantities, and heard about this from a ecig forum.

There are a variety of grades of glycerin and this one met all the standards I was looking for...vegetable glycerin (vegetarian formula), good value, and if kosher is important to you they have that certification as well. It's nice and thick and it's very sweet. It also is in an HDPE safe plastic and I do look for that as well.

Glycerin can be used as a natural sweetener but it's also great to thicken things you want thicker without the fat as well. It rolls off your tongue like butter would, but you can utilize it instead of something like butter to make it healthier and eliminate animal products as well if that is your desire...

It's excellent if you want a natural diuretic if you are retaining water but want to lose it in a healthy way to combine lemon juice and glycerin and water to taste. Adding in some cucumber slices will help even more and give it a nice crisp flavor. I also add in mint when I"m growing some.

It takes VERY little glycerin to sweeten anything and it has a syrup consistency.

I mix it into bubble to blow out at the park. You know. Making large bubble that performers uses. They put Glycerin inside to make the bubble stabilize. 1 part to 10 distilled water and 0.25 part glycerin or corn syrup makes it stable.

As an e-cigarette/personal vaporizer user who mixes their own liquids, this is an amazing product. Great price, good clean VG, fast shipping. Slightly sweet taste that makes great vapor and is easily mixed with the right tools. As this is pure VG, it is very thick, so it requires dilution; I use propylene glycol, personally.

This is an awesome product. I use it in a spray bottle with 2/3 water and 1/3 glycerin. I spritz it over my hair for moisture and over my skin right after a shower. I can tell you that my skin is not achy at all no sirree lol and it leave my hair so soft and manageable. Great product at great price. I will be buying more when this bottle is all done :)

Glycerin is a well known moisturizer and used in most personal care and beauty products. If you search for some scholastic papers, it has healing properties too, while other moisturizers do not.

I brought one bottle last year but didn't figure out how to use it - how to get enough on the skin without breaking the bank. I was on the wrong track of trying to make body/face wash or body lotion. Then I realized the best and simplest way is to dilute and then spray with a fine "atomizer" on dry skin. I must have came across that many times but since they always add something to it like rose water, I wonder what they were trying to achieve. And that I wasn't comfortable leaving some chemicals on my skin, until I know it has healing properties.

For this product, I use 1 part glycerin to 9 part filtered water. It is by volume, teaspoons or buckets. You can apply like cologne or spray with a fine mist. After drying you will feel that your palm is slightly coated with a smooth, comfortable but not sticky layer. The exact concentration doesn't matter that much as the drying process is self adjusting. I bet this level of concentration beats the content in even the most moisturizing body wash or shampoo.

You can use up to 2 part glycerin to 8 part purified water without feeling sticky, but the presence of glycerin on the skin will be felt.

My hands wouldn't heal easily. I have to wear gloves when doing house work. But even washing hands after going to the bathroom will interrupt the healing. Nothing OTC can really stop the deterioration, until I have to go to the doctors for prescription steroid. I use Dove for body wash and Vaseline for body lotion. That won't stop the next cycle of outbreak - steroid.

Then I discovered corn huskers lotion.

I'm African American and I use this with water and rosemary oil for a daily moisture hair spritz as part of my natural hair health regime. It leaves my hair soft.

This is very versatile.
I used this for making homemade hair conditioner, facial masks, scrubs, you name it!
There is no smell. It's ALMOST tasteless. I accidentally got some on my lips and it tasted a bit like lightly sweetened syrup but just barely.
I definitely recommend this product.
