Perfect Peel solution glycolic acid 50% removed my dark spots. I am an aesthetician, and would reccomend this product for home peels. Before using this, I would reccomend a home user to consult with an aesthetician or dermaatologist first, as darker skin tones may have an opposite effect. For a light complected person, as myself, "Perfect Peel 50%" worked great. For fair, sensitive skin, this product is better used for spot applications until the skin builds a tolerance to the strength. If you are looking to remove brown spots and are fair complected, "Perfect Peel" does really work. A couple of cycles, and my major spots dissappeared. Remember to wear a good sun block 45 SPF and to avoid any drying acne cleansers at least 7 days before and @ least 10 days after. Cetaphil mild cleanser, is reccomended for preparation of a peel and after. Good luck. :)

I did my first peel on Tuesday evening.
During the treatment... It stung a lot, but it was not completely unbareable. I used a blow dryer on a cool setting to sooth my skin while the peel was penetrating.

Immediately after the treatment... My face still stung, until I put moisturizer on.

Wednesday morning... My skin was scaly and my smile lines where brown and scaly. I used Neosporin ointment to prevent scarring, and help with sensitivity.
Wednesday Evening... The scales in my smile lines has peeled away.

Thursday Morning... New skin is beginning to come along.

Today is Saturday and I definately notice a difference in my skintone. The scars arent as dark, and my smile lines have diminished.

I'd like to add that you don't have to be afraid of moisturizer, neosporin, sunscreen, etc. In no way does it effect the peeling. With all of those on my face, it still peeled.

Definately use a sunscreen.

Prior to purchasing this product I did a bit of research on the different types of peels to determine which would be best for my skin and what I wanted to accomplish (I have combination skin with a bit of hyperpygmentation). Although I don't have "sensitive" skin per se, I didn't want anything that would be too harsh. After 3 full uses, this peel has helped shrink my pores, lighten the dark areas on my face, and lessen my occasional acne breakouts. From my experience, this solution is great for the beginner who has minor skin imperfections (or a great starting point for someone who has more complicated skin issues who needs a base to build from). But before you order, do your research and determine what you think will work best for you!

I have been using this product about 2 times a week for 3 1/2 weeks. I have about a half a bottle left, so 12 peels isn't bad. I have seen a nice clarity to my skin after usage, but no change in my acne marks which is why I purchased this initially. Great for people who just want to get rid of the gritty-skin look, or want to begin a regimen of peels. Not good if you have moderate-to-severe acne marks and need a big change.

I purchased Perfect Peel solution glycolic acid 50% and my skin is smoother and it lightened my dark spots and tightened my skin.
I started out with a test spot on my forehead to make sure there wasn't any harmful effects on my type of skin. I cleansed and applied the solution with a q-tip and left it on about 2 minutes,it stung a little and my skin was red after washing it off. I applied a vitamin E cream to moisturize after.

The test area was fine, so I applied it the whole forehead a few days later. I had no frosting just redness and the skin tightened. About 4 days later I noticed it started to peel. (Prior to peeling the skin will be very dry and shiny and you may notice some dark spots).
I waited a few days and applied it to my whole face(avoiding getting to close to the eye area)and left it on less than 2 minutes,rinsed and then moisturized. The area on my cheek and temples and near my mouth got really red and frosted (***frosting:the skin turns white kind of like a blister looks and goes away after a few minutes) the red and frosted areas took longer than the rest of my face to heal and not flake anymore.

I wouldn't advise using this unless you plan on being home for a week so you can heal without having to apply make-up or have anyone see your face. I am very fair skinned with blue eyes and blond hair and have sensitive skin.
BUT, I will say that this product is awesome in the long run! My skin is smoother and pores are smaller and as I use it more and more my skin seems to have adjusted to it and I know the more tender areas.

I read up on scar treatment and I am applying to tiny areas where I have a couple of scars. The glycolic acid takes off dead skin cells and seems to seep deep into the scar and as it heals...it appears to heal smoother and the deepness of the scar goes away!!! I found some scar treatment forums on Google and studied how to apply glycolic acid to scars to remove them and it really did work for me. :) It's great for removing dark spots...you can just apply the glycolic acid with a q-tip to the particular spot, rinse and then moisturize and re-apply over and over after it heals and it's gone completely.

I am thinking about purchasing a weaker strength for the tender areas of my face and use the 50% on the forhead and tops of my hands until I get used to the peels. Overall it has been great that I found a product online that worked that I didn't have to pay 100.00 - 200.00 to have someone else apply it for me.
*Be sure and test an area and read up as much as you can about the product and it's strength for your skin type.

This product is powerful! Please do not leave on for 4 mins the first time you use it....it left scabs on my face! 2 mins max...it works really really well!!!!

The first time I used this product I under-estimated its power. I tried two layers and burned parts of my face. With this experience in mind, One month later I tried a second time using one layer and leaving it on for only three minutes. My skin is perfectly glowing. It looks as good as the Glycolic Peels I have recieved at my dermatoligists office. I paid over $100.00 for those.

The product is very strong so just needs to be on for a few minutes only and can be used once a week .
I'm very happy with the results , younger looking skin more elastic and dark circles under the eyes seem to disappear. Overall very happy with this product .you need to use the neutraliser after it's been on as it's a very strong and will still be active even after rinsing with water .

I started using this peel a few weeks ago after having used 20 and 35 percent peels and this one really works on my very fair over 40 skin. I takes a few times of use before you get the full result but it is worth it as I have the skin of a young girl and feel youthful. I have always taken care of my skin but this product really gives results without resorting to surgery. People have always thought I look much younger than my age and now people think I am my husbands daughter! Try it but be careful and follow instruction and dont be impatient as it takes several uses to get optimal results, depending on how badly damaged your skin is. Highly reccommended.

At first it didnt seem to work.. But as long as you make sure you wash your face (area to be treated) really well prior to application, it will get right to work!! Takes about 1-2 days for the peeling to start. My face is super soft after application! I will continue to use in order to reduce fine lines, and create an even skin tone!
