Book Description

August 22, 2000
Gnomes in the Garden is a vivid account of the authors' real-life meetings with members of the Celtic Faery. The personal stories, spiritual quests, and adventures of these Gnomes and Elves are described in their own words. Also contained herein are some of the most sacred spiritual teachings of the Celtic Faery. These Celtic Christian teachings shed new light upon the meaning of the Holy Grail as it relates to Mother and Father Creator, Christ, Mary, and the Great Mother Earth. This book opens a gateway for those seekers who wish to experience the living world of the Celtic Faery.

More About the Author

David Swing was raised in Wyoming and Arizona. He and his wife, Carol, now live in the mountains of Western North Carolina. David's first experiences with Faeries came when he was a young child living in Wyoming. His next contact with them arose after he had married and moved from Arizona to North Carolina. David's books are a result of his ongoing communication and experiences with the Faire Folke since 1997. You can find more information and read selected book excerpts at celticwisdom.net.

David is a direct descendant of David Swing, a controversial 1800's reverend and author. David sees the world through the eyes of a non-traditional Celtic Christian who cares deeply about nature. While continuing to work on new books about the Faerie, he also leads worship services to honor the ancient Celtic holidays.
